Another early start for the day. We left the Edmonton area about 8:40, after collecting our key deposit, and cleaning the windshield.
Driving down the highway, we did see some yellow and white moose. The yellow ones were on the northbound side of the highway, and the white ones were on the southbound side.
Of course there were various sights to see driving down the highway, the RVs in front of us, and the town mascot in Beaver Lodge.
We are parked for the night in a nice municipal campground in Hythe, Alberta fir $10 per night.
Then we went to one of the fancier places for dinner – “The Real Deal”. Everything was good including the “Poutine” (fries with gravy). The waitress even brought Dennis a piece of chocolate pie with a candle in it. Today was his birthday.
