We spent another day in Watson Lake. This morning we walked through the Sign Post Forest followed by a walking tour of the town.
They have really old buildings in town – the oldest were built in the 1950’s. After lunch we went back to the sign post forest, where Dennis Hill put up an Escapees sign. 
At 2:00, we went to see a movie at the Northern Lights Theatre. They talked about how BIG our universe is in the first show, and then in the second, they tried to explain what causes the northern lights. Current theory is that storms from the sun are captured by the magnetic pull of the north and south poles. I remember seeing them a few times in my home town of Oswego, NY where everyone thought they were UFOs. After our normal 4:00 social hour, Marilyn and I and Garry and Mary went back across the street to put up our own signs in the forest.
I also took a couple of pictures of Garry.
And, I just have to share pictures of this totem and penguin at the front of the forest by the visitor center.
