It was el Cinco de Mayo, and we left Utah behind, crossed Idaho, and entered Montana. Dennis and Carol Hill met our two rigs (the Forbes and Del Rosario’s) at the Flying J at exit 357 on I-15 in Ogden, UT. Thus the three amigos started our northward trek to Alaska together. We will pick-up some others along the way.

We did have some nice views as we traveled down the road. 
Dennis normally wears orange clothing, but didn’t today. However, Don and Sharon fixed him up with a new hat
. 
After we were all set up, we got together for talk about how we were all going to survive a trip to Alaska together. Marilyn made a chicken meatloaf, Don and Sharon brought a salad, and Carol brought vegetables.
