Three of our rigs left Valdez this morning about 9:30 and drove 225 miles towards Anchorage, AK. We are stopped at a roadside pull-off next to a river. The river is running quite rapidly due to all of the snow melt. The color of the river reminds me of cement.
We left three of our group in Valdez. Two rigs had planned to stay another night, but the third had a problem with his rig. Jean’s front airbags would not inflate. In fact one of them was leaking air. He plans to call his road service tomorrow morning to try to get someone out to fix it.
