We woke up to sprinkles, and it stayed that way most of the day. We could not see the mountains on the other side of Cook Inlet for most of the day. I caught up our check and credit card registers. We have seen Loons, eagles, and other birds, and watched the tide come in.
Marilyn woke up in the middle of the night (last night), and took pictures of the sunshine 10:45pm and sunset at 1:45am.
This afternoon, we went to visit Larry & Peggy Leonard, SKP 1426, at their home here in Ninilchik for happy hour. As it turned out, she & Larry had prepared skewars of smoked salmon, tuna and halibut. They were delicious. There were also a salad, and chips.
Peggy had many pots of flowers on a railing around her porch, but she also had some unusual boot planters, along with a moose.
After we ate and drank wine, she brought out her S’more kit for dessert.
After we left, Dennis drove around town. We saw a moose with her twins, a Russian church and cemetery. The quality of the moose picture is low because it was taken with my phone, and I cropped it.
