2013-02-05

We were ready when the Service Writer at Orangewood RV knocked on the door a little before 8am to start filling out the paperwork.  A little later, he came by and said that as soon as we were out of the RV, a tech would take it back to the shop to find out what was wrong with the leveling jack.  So we went in to their service lounge for a little while, and got ready for some errands.  First I called Progressive to set up an appointment to get the Jeep repaired, which was set for 9:30am tomorrow.  Second was a stop at a credit union to make a shared branch deposit for Chapter 16.  Third we stopped at Lowes to pick up a couple of end caps.  Fourth, we decided to do a drive by on the address for our Jeep drop-off for tomorrow.  When we finally found the address (Garmin GPS was wrong, so had to use the phone), we decided to go in and find out the procedure.  As it turned out, we dropped off the Jeep, and picked up a Chevy Veo rental.  Back at Orangewood, we found out that even though a jack had to be manually retracted in Quartzsite, there was no need for repair.  The jack worked fine.  Fifth, we went to WalMart, and lunch at McDonalds.

Now it was time to drive to Escapees North Ranch RV Park, where we are staying on Denny & Susie’s lot.  Along the way, we saw gorgeous Saguaro Cacti, and a cell tower made to resemble a pine tree towering over the Cacti.

This is our house at Denny & Susie’s.IMG_20130205_161716_049

Our time here will be fun just like it is whenever we get together with our Escapees friends.  We had a happy hour, potluck and a discussion around the fire pits.  We had Bill & Darla, Walt & Kellie, Dennis & Carol, Steve & Nancy, Mark, Denny & Susie, and us.  Tomorrow we go for a walk amongst the Cacti.
