Yesterday, we left Tri-State RV Park in Matamoras, PA in the morning, and drove to Ramblin Pines Campground in Woodbine, MD. Our route took us west on I-84, then south on I-81 and I-83, and then west on I-70 a short ways.
I started to write this blog last night, but was too tired.
We had a wonderful 4 days visiting with Terri and Phil Tobin in Westtown NY. She is a wonderful cook, and we ate super well. Wednesday, we all went to Poughkeepsie, NY to meet their granddaughter, Amanda and twins, for lunch and to walk across the Hudson River. The twins, Lydia and Lucas, were only 8 weeks old, and adorable. . In 2009, the old railroad bridge was converted into a walking bridge across the Hudson. . We went up the outside elevator that had only been open for two weeks. . Phil and I followed the pretty ladies across the bridge because we had to stop and read the signs. Terri got to push the carriage with her great grand babies. This is a nice picture of Amanda, Terri, Phil and the carriage. . Here are some views from the bridge. . If you have money to contribute to support the walking bridge you can have your name on one of these medallions for only $5,000. . Or, you can get your name on a bench for $10,000. We decided we could not afford one. On the way back across the bridge, the twins had to be fed and changed. Marilyn happily got to hold Lucas. We all had good lunches at River Station.
Hugs, and Type at You Later.
I thought for sure you'd buy the bench.
