I have been remiss in adding to this blog since the 2nd. The chassis service in Syracuse was completed thursday morning and we were backed into my sister's driveway in Oswego by 11:30 AM. Ann made a delicious meatloaf dinner for thursday night, and swiss steak for Friday. Friday, I worked on my VCR Workshop seminar. Saturday was a good day. the reunion went well. It was great to meet cousins again that we have not seen in over 40 years. Jim, his wife, and Leslie and her husband did a great job orgainizing. It was cool (low 60's) for the reunion, but nothing like Sunday. We went out to a good breakfast, then we helped celebrate my nephew's birthday. A good day despite the rain. We left Ann's yesterday the 6th, and drove to Lake Erie State Park via NY104 to Rochester, via I390 to US 20. Breezy. The park has gotten more expensive for out of state residents - 1 night electric, no water, no sewer = $31.75. Still a nice park, and location. Today was a long day. We are spending the night at Lazy River RV Resort in Pioneer, OH. It was really windy all day. If it were not for Escapade, today would have been a day to not drive. To top it off, one of the jeep tires blew taking some plastic with it. If we had not stopped for fuel, we would not have known, but still there is not much tire left. Glad we are off the road.
