Yesterday, the 12th, we left Plantation, driving on through the rest of Alabama, then Mississippi, and part way through Louisiana to Dusan which is west of Baton Rouge. We are staying in Frog City RV Park until Sunday.
Today, we toured the State Capitol of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.

This is the statue of Huey P. Long. He was a former governor of Louisiana, and US Senator when he was assassinated outside the LA governor’s office in 1935. He is buried under this statue.

After eating lunch in the LA Capitol cafeteria, we toured the State Capitol Museum.
